default The "astroturfing" of Net Neutrality

This saddens me, since I do consider myself to be politically conservative, though I've always been registered to vote as an independent:

However, when I say conservative, I mean I want to live in a society which supports actual free enterprise, for individual and "mom and pop" businesses, vs. this kind of bullsh/t wherein the only political support goes to corporate monopolies or oligopolies! WTF

This kind of thing surprises you? Interests that serve the corportate monopolies have been employing these kinds of tactics on every issue. They are the reason we need to stay involved in politics on the other side, even if it does seem futile at times. Without opposition in huge numbers, they would already have everything they want instead of almost all of it.

Life is complex.  Parts of it are real and parts of it are imaginary.  (read in a novel by Gregory Benford.)

Absurdity is one of the great joys of life.

All you need for a rich life is to see more.
